RICHARD KNIGHT:

Richard Knight has been performing internationally as a mime artist for over 15 years and has studied mime and movement for 7 years.

In that time he was taught by the late, great, french mime and movement teacher Jacques Lecoq and has won three major awards.

Latest Update: Next Mime & Magic Show to be perform at the Proud Cabaret, In London Feb 2, 23, 25 2011

Recently performed - ‘Magician’s Nightmare’ - on 10th July 2010 for Caner Research Charity in Enfield, UK.

Richard was also the the movement director for the play ‘Maggie’s End’ at the Shaw Theatre, London directed by Jack Milner which opened April 7th-17th 2009. He recently performed on the Richard & Judy Show on Feb 23rd 2009 and on the Justin Lee Collins Show on May 7th 2009.

Previously he was teaching Mime and
Commedia dell Arte at the Circus Space and was recently teaching Commedia & Clown at East 15 Acting School, during May 2009

Mime The Gap supplied the Farnborough Air Show in July 2008 with 8 Mime Artists as Flying Airmen and in August 2008, 3x Mime Artists for the launch of the new EuroStar Ebbsfleet International Station in Kent. Recently Richard Knight was a mime artist consultant on the up and coming Wink Bingo Commercial featuring two other mime artists. You can also see Richard performing everyday on two huge plasma screens at Heathrow Airport’s new Terminal 5 at the ‘Glorious Britain’ Souvenir shops both air and land side of the departure lounge.
